New automatic bagger for plastic bottles from APEX Automation and Robotics

Apex Automation and Robotics is one of the leading automation suppliers for the plastic blow moulding industry. They offer a wide range of machines including robotic systems to handle plastic bottles, jars and containers.

The latest addition to these automation machines is the Automatic Bagger - AB 410S, an extremely flexible machine that can handle a wide variety of bottles.

The bags are formed from a plastic roll using a cutter and heat sealers and the bottles are collected, grouped then fed into the bags.

All modules are guided by precision linear bearings and controlled by variable speed drives for fast yet smooth operation. The machine is fully guarded to meet OH&S requirements, with interlocked doors for easy access. The safety circuit includes redundancy and safety monitoring devices in accordance to the relevant standards such as
AS 4024, EN 292 and EN 1050.

The HMI (Human-Machine Interface) consists of a user-friendly Touch Screen that allows the operator to change the setup, run and troubleshoot the machine.

The AB 410S can make bags up 1200mm wide for standard pallets, and up to1420mm long for beverage pallets. The standard machine handles more than 3000 bottles/hr and can produce up to 60 bags/hr (120 bags/hr is optional). One of its unique features is that it is very easy to set up for different sizes, compared to other automatic baggers.

Other equipment that can be ordered with the Automatic Bagger:

     -
Automatic Palletiser including layer pad dispenser

     -
Pallet conveyor system

     -
Automatic Palletiser for both bags and loose bottles

This Automatic Bagger and the range of automation machines supplied by Apex Automation and Robotics are
assisting their clients to meet the challenges of increasing production, eliminating manual operations and improving quality.
